Based on the time of this, I'm going to assume you're the person who cut ties with me last night over me being proship. If it is you, I would have appreciated a back and forth conversation about this rather than an ata message. Anyway, why does it matter? Genuinely why does it matter, it doesn't. I don't put it on my account anywhere currently because I don't fancy being bothered more than I already am by antis, and people just don't know what the term means anymore. Why would my friends not be okay with the fact I know how to ignore content I don't like? If my friends are curious about my views they can ask and hold a conversation with me to confirm what I think and what being proship means to me personally. At the end of the day it's fiction, I'd hardly call it disrespectful because it doesn't effect that person at all, because fiction isn't real.

Because proshipping just means that I won't interact with ships I don't like! I think it's pretty ridiculous to bother people over ships is all. A lot of people don't realise that being proship doesn't mean I actually ship anything lol. Also about seeking help, working on it, but not because of anything to do with fiction, also different coping mechanisms work differently for everyone, just remember that if you get confused as to why (some) people are proship!
